Step 1: Open Google Maps

The first step to deleting recent destinations is to open the Google Maps app on your smartphone or tablet. If you haven’t installed the app yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

Step 2: Access the Menu

Once you have the Google Maps app open, locate and tap on the menu icon located in the upper-left corner of the screen. This will display a list of options, including your profile, recent destinations, and more.

Step 3: Go to Your Profile

In the menu, tap on your profile icon. This will take you to your account settings and information.

Step 4: Select Your Recent Destinations

Within your profile, you will see a section titled “Recent Destinations.” Tap on this section to view a list of all the places you have visited or searched for recently.

Step 5: Delete Individual Destinations

To delete a specific destination, tap on the three-dot menu icon next to the place you want to remove. Then, select “Delete” from the dropdown menu. A confirmation prompt will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap “Yes” to delete the destination.

Step 6: Delete All Recent Destinations

If you want to delete all recent destinations at once, tap on the “Clear all” button at the bottom of the “Recent Destinations” list. A confirmation prompt will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap “Yes” to clear all recent destinations.

Step 7: Confirm Deletion

After you have selected the destinations you want to delete, a confirmation message will appear, notifying you that the selected destinations have been removed. You can tap “OK” to close the message and return to the Google Maps app.
