Efficiently Conceal Your Apps- A Guide to Hiding Recently Added Apps on iPhone

How to Hide Apps from Recently Added on iPhone

In the digital age, privacy and personalization are more important than ever. One area where this is particularly evident is on the iPhone, where users have the ability to customize their device to suit their preferences. One common concern for many iPhone users is how to hide apps from the “Recently Added” section. This article will guide you through the steps to achieve this, ensuring that your phone remains private and organized.

Firstly, it’s important to understand that the “Recently Added” section on the iPhone is a feature that displays the apps you’ve installed or recently used. While this can be convenient for quickly accessing new apps, it can also be intrusive if you want to keep certain apps hidden. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the App Library: To begin, swipe up from the bottom of the screen on an iPhone with a Home button or press the Home button twice on an iPhone with Face ID. This will open the App Library.

2. Find the App: Once in the App Library, scroll through the list of apps or use the search bar at the top to find the app you want to hide.

3. Edit the App’s Page: Tap and hold the app until it starts jiggling. Then, tap the “x” icon that appears on the app’s page.

4. Delete the App: A confirmation prompt will appear. Tap “Delete App” to remove the app from your iPhone. This will also remove it from the “Recently Added” section.

5. Hide the App from the Home Screen: If you want to ensure the app remains hidden from your Home screen as well, you can remove it from there. To do this, open the App Library and find the app as before. Tap and hold the app until it starts jiggling, then tap the “x” icon and confirm the deletion.

It’s worth noting that this method is permanent, and you will need to reinstall the app if you want to use it again. Additionally, if you have a passcode or Face ID enabled, the app will remain hidden even if someone else uses your iPhone.

By following these simple steps, you can keep your iPhone organized and maintain your privacy by hiding apps from the “Recently Added” section. Remember, the key to a personalized and secure iPhone experience is to regularly review and manage your apps.
