How to Check Recent Stories on Instagram

In today’s digital age, Instagram has become an essential platform for staying connected with friends, family, and celebrities. One of the most popular features on Instagram is Stories, which allows users to share photos and videos that disappear after 24 hours. Whether you want to catch up on the latest updates from your favorite influencers or keep track of your friends’ adventures, knowing how to check recent Stories on Instagram is crucial. Accessing Recent Stories

To check recent Stories on Instagram, follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
2. Tap the camera icon at the bottom center of the screen to go to the camera feed.
3. Look for the circular Stories icon at the top left corner of the screen. It is usually accompanied by a small camera icon.
4. Once you tap on the Stories icon, you will be taken to the Stories page, where you can see the most recent Stories from your friends and followers.

Browsing Recent Stories

On the Stories page, you will see a grid of circular images and videos representing the latest Stories. Here’s how to browse through them:

1. Swipe left or right to scroll through the Stories.
2. To view a Story, simply tap on it. The Story will play automatically, and you can swipe left or right to navigate through the content.
3. If you want to skip a Story, tap on the screen to pause it and then swipe up or down to move to the next Story.
4. To exit a Story, tap on the screen and swipe up or down.

Using the Story Archive

If you want to access older Stories or Stories from accounts you don’t follow, you can use the Story Archive feature:

1. Tap on the Stories icon at the top left corner of the screen to go to the Stories page.
2. Look for the three dots icon at the top right corner of the screen and tap on it.
3. Select “Story Archive” from the menu.
4. Here, you will find a list of all the Stories you have created and viewed. You can swipe through them or tap on a specific Story to view it.

Additional Tips

– To save a specific Story for later, tap on the three dots icon next to the Story and select “Save.”
– If you want to hide Stories from certain accounts, go to your profile, tap on the three dots icon at the top right corner, and select “Settings.” Then, go to “Stories” and toggle off the “Allow Stories From Non-Followers” option.
– To view Stories from accounts you don’t follow, you can use the “Discover” feature by tapping on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
